Overnight camping: Do not treat the public sand as a campground. The county ordinance restricts tents/structures and distinguishes daylight shade from overnight structures. Buccaneer offers separately booked, paid state-park camping; registered-guest facilities do not become public beach facilities.

Shore fishing: Mississippi DMR publishes saltwater recreational fishing licensing and limits. Use only a lawful public bank or currently operating pier and obey posted exclusion areas.
