Timing: Published beach-park hours: sunrise–sunset. Inlet or jetty fishing exceptions do not make swimming or park facilities available overnight. Town Code §74-196 expressly names the Kreusler beach area north of the municipal Casino Beach for 500 feet in its sunset-to-sunrise closure. This municipal overlay does not change county management or approve an outer shoreline boundary. Bringing a dog: Dogs are not allowed on county-operated beaches except service animals as defined by the ADA. Swimming: County lists guarded beach frontage. Its general schedule is year-round, seven days a week, 9 a.m.–5:20 p.m.; actual coverage is indicated by the condition flag flying at the tower. Alcohol is prohibited on county park property except in specifically authorized areas or permitted events. Sealed original packages may be stored or transported in a vehicle or vessel; that exception does not permit drinking on the beach. A picnic area is not automatically an authorized drinking area.

County guidance prohibits fires except where fireplaces or grills are provided. Use the designated cooking facilities, extinguish coals and do not treat a park grill as permission for a bonfire on the sand.

Camping and tents or shelters are restricted to areas designated by the county Parks Director. A beach visit is not permission to set up an overnight camp; arrange any designated camping use with the county and follow this park’s posted closing time.

Saltwater fishing is not permitted in the guarded swimming area; the county lists separate fishing use. County rules also prohibit shark fishing or chumming on county beaches with guarded swimming areas and prohibit spear fishing on park property. Obey lifeguard directions and posted fishing restrictions; a fishing license does not override them. Town Code §74-161 expressly prohibits possession of spearfishing equipment on the named Kreusler beach area; county management does not remove this municipal overlay.

Eau Palm Beach in Manalapan at East Ocean Avenue and South Ocean Boulevard is an oceanfront resort option for a stay on the southern Palm Beach island coast. Use it as a separate lodging base and plan travel to this beach independently; hotel amenities do not grant access through a closed park.
