Parking & entry: Choose the signed public entrance. Parking is listed at the county park. Ordinary park admission is free; this park is not one of the two county beach parks listed for paid parking. Pier/concession services are separate.
Parking source ↗Accessibility: Choose the exact accessible route. The named facility’s reviewed published information does not establish the complete parking-to-beach route for this source observation. Confirm the exact crossover, surface, slope, steps and mat/equipment availability with the managing authority before an accessible visit. This is not a finding that the beach is inaccessible.

Rules & facilities
Check before you go
Timing: County beach park: sunrise–sunset. Separate pier/inlet/facility hours are independently controlled. Bringing a dog: Dogs are prohibited on the county-operated beach except qualifying service animals. Jupiter Dog Beach is a separately designated corridor. Swimming: County directory publishes daily, year-round 9:00 a.m.–5:20 p.m. guard coverage for the guarded swimming section. This is a published schedule, not observed attendance or protection of every adjacent crossover. Getting there: See the entrance section for parking and entry details and sources. Facilities: County park listing includes restroom facilities and outdoor showers; exact accessible facility route and temporary operating condition require entrance-specific confirmation. Accessible visit: See the entrance section for accessibility details and sources. Latest beach notice: Palm Beach County Ocean Rescue explicitly lists this beach in its north district’s dated conditions report. That regional report is a planning reference, not a flag observed at this entrance. Check its date, then the onsite tower flag and condition board; mixed or expired wording must not become a current flag icon.

Public or private?
Public access
Who can visit: Open to the general public, including visitors, during permitted hours and subject to posted rules.
Entry route, fees & access boundaries
- Manager / access authority
- Palm Beach County Parks and Recreation; county Ocean Rescue provides guarded swimming coverage.
- Access basis
- This listing covers a publicly managed beach access or park, not a private guest-only beach.
- Where to enter
- Responsible county authority lists this public park and its beach facilities. No present-opening or uninterrupted accessible-route guarantee is implied.
- Fees & reservations
- See the entrance section for parking and entry details and sources. Separate pier or guest-service charges do not establish a beach admission fee.
- Restrictions & exceptions
- Use the designated boardwalks at Coral Cove Beach and keep off dune vegetation. Follow posted swimming and activity zones, leave wildlife undisturbed, and remove your equipment when you leave. Public beach eligibility does not override an entrance closure or authorize a shortcut through private property. County rules require compliance with posted activity restrictions and closures. Do not enter a closed, construction or restricted area; the park’s public status does not guarantee that every entrance or facility is open today. Dogs are prohibited on the county-operated beach except qualifying service animals. Jupiter Dog Beach is a separately designated corridor. County beach park: sunrise–sunset. Separate pier/inlet/facility hours are independently controlled.
- What this label covers
- Approved named destination only; public eligibility does not imply current opening or a surveyed accessible entrance.
Beach ownership, the route across land, public shoreline-use rights and access to facilities are separate questions. Rules vary by state and location. Use the identified public entrance or documented permission; neither a nearby resort nor an admission fee by itself establishes that a beach is private. A mapped beach is not permission to cross private property.
Access policy reviewed 2026-10-03. Not a live closure report or a property-boundary survey.
Allowed & prohibited activities
Alcohol is prohibited on county park property except in specifically authorized areas or permitted events. Sealed original packages may be stored or transported in a vehicle or vessel; that exception does not permit drinking on the beach. A picnic area is not automatically an authorized drinking area.

County guidance prohibits fires except where fireplaces or grills are provided. Use the designated cooking facilities, extinguish coals and do not treat a park grill as permission for a bonfire on the sand.

Camping and tents or shelters are restricted to areas designated by the county Parks Director. A beach visit is not permission to set up an overnight camp; arrange any designated camping use with the county and follow this park’s posted closing time.

The County explicitly lists Coral Cove for saltwater shore fishing outside designated guarded swimming areas. Observe local closures and fishing-zone signs, and obtain the applicable Florida license unless exempt. This is shore-fishing guidance, not permission to fish inside a swimming area. County rules also prohibit shark fishing or chumming on county beaches with guarded swimming areas and prohibit spear fishing on park property. Obey lifeguard directions and posted fishing restrictions; a fishing license does not override them.

For a planned scuba outing, Jupiter Dive Center offers boat charters and equipment rentals in Jupiter; arrange the trip directly with the operator. Its charter listing does not establish a shore-dive route at this beach. The County lists snorkeling in this park’s lifeguard-protected swimming area. That does not establish a scuba entry or underwater route. County beach-safety guidance prohibits scuba in inlets; the park’s ocean beach must not be confused with the inlet channel. The reviewed named-facility information and location search do not establish an entrance-specific scuba route, underwater conditions or a suitability rating at Coral Cove Beach.

Shore & sky wildlife
Palm Beach County ERM identifies March–October as turtle nesting season on the county’s ocean beaches. At this beach, avoid lights on the sand, leave nests and markers undisturbed and remove beach equipment and holes before leaving. This is county coastal guidance; no individual beach nest count or animal sighting frequency is established.

History & interesting facts
County ERM dates Coral Cove’s first dune restoration to 1989 and records later erosion repairs, most recently completed in March 2025. The work added sand to restore dune elevation and planted native dune vegetation. Historical walkover construction is not proof of today’s entrance inventory or accessibility.
