START WITH YOUR DAY
Find your fit in Northampton
3 published guides in this county. Start with dogs allowed (2 qualifying beaches), then compare the named entrances. Feature counts describe documented routes, not all beaches or every entrance in the county.
Use the verified route features below to choose where to begin. Counts refer to beaches with a qualifying named entrance, not every entrance. These are planning details, not current opening or guard duty.
Choose the exact shore
Facilities, seasonal policies and lawful arrivals retain their named location and authority. A nearby park, private club, federal parcel or monitoring site does not supply another beach's permission or amenities.

Cape Charles Public Beach
Cape Charles Town Beach is a public Chesapeake Bay shore along Bay Avenue, with block-end paths and wooden viewing platforms, and a southern public restroom.
Kiptopeke State Park Beach
Kiptopeke has two Chesapeake Bay beaches. The northern swimming area and southern mixed-use shore have different pet, fishing and boating rules; both are published as unguarded.
Savage Neck Dunes Beach
Savage Neck Dunes protects a named Chesapeake Bay beach, dunes and maritime forest reached by marked preserve trails. Shoreline access is limited to times immediately around low tide.
Coverage and evidence
These 3 guides do not establish exhaustive shoreline coverage or today's opening. Pins are approximate planning references; they do not establish an exact crossing, parcel boundary, swimming entitlement or navigable landing.
Typical underwater clarity, shore snorkeling, offshore excursions, full nudity and female-topless use are researched independently. Positive filters require supporting beach-specific evidence.
