Find your fit in Accomack
3 published guides in this county. Use the named arrival information first; facility evidence is too limited for a feature-based recommendation. 1 guide has boat-only arrival: plan transport and the lawful landing separately. Feature counts describe documented routes, not all beaches or every entrance in the county.
Start with the named arrivals in these guides; route-specific features are still being verified. Counts refer to beaches with a qualifying named entrance, not every entrance. These are planning details, not current opening or guard duty.
Choose the exact shore
Facilities, seasonal policies and lawful arrivals retain their named location and authority. A nearby park, private club, federal parcel or monitoring site does not supply another beach's permission or amenities.

Assateague Island Virginia Recreational Beach
The existing Virginia Assateague recreational beach is an Atlantic shore within Chincoteague National Wildlife Refuge. Reach it at the end of Beach Road or by the separate Swan Cove foot/bicycle approach; the relocated beach area remains under construction.
Guard Shore Beach
Guard Shore is a named Bay beach near Bloxom. DWR publishes access to its Guard Shore Tract with credential requirements and management closures; the adjoining county ramp/beach boundary and any posted swimming exception remain unresolved.
Parkers Marsh Public Use Area Beach
Parkers Marsh permits recreation only in its small mapped Public Use Area, reached by boat without a public dock or facilities. Other preserve portions require a research permit.
Coverage and evidence
These 3 guides do not establish exhaustive shoreline coverage or today's opening. Pins are approximate planning references; they do not establish an exact crossing, parcel boundary, swimming entitlement or navigable landing.
Typical underwater clarity, shore snorkeling, offshore excursions, full nudity and female-topless use are researched independently. Positive filters require supporting beach-specific evidence.
