A few places to start

Starting points ranked by verified entrance facilities; these are not a county-wide quality ranking.

Parking & entry: Summer QR reservations · equipment carry

Check before going: The main-lot mat stops in sand before the water; the cartop route differs. Published 2026 summer reservations and adaptive-camp hours require date-specific planning, and swimming-beach dog wording is unresolved.

Horn Point Beach

A small Eastport waterfront street-end at Chesapeake Avenue and Horn Point Drive. The City’s 2021 report documents a sandy shore; its current locator retains the named park, without establishing current swimming permission.

Arrival, facilities and sources

Coverage and evidence

Forty-two DNR observations were retained privately. Inland Davidsonville is excluded; forty-one coastal water-access observations and twelve separate guide-arrival references are proposed. Ramps and piers are not new beach guides, and no parent relationship is inferred.

DNR entries retain their real source edit dates and source-listed features, not current amenity guarantees. Current named manager rules and specific construction notices remain scoped to their own arrival. Guest Inn/marina access does not create ordinary public admission.

Map pins are approximate planning references. Check the exact guide for lawful arrival and manager notices. Forecasts, tide predictions, laboratory samples and warning flags retain separate sources and dates.
